Features of Air Unit

Propeller
The propeller is a low-consumption design with 10 sickle-profile blades, each with a variable and progressive pitch across 8 adjustment points — part of TEYME’s patented design. Because of this fine-grained adjustability, the blades play a key role in keeping orchard sprayers efficient.

Turbo Auxiliary Channel Nº4
This turbo lower channel recovers 16.50% of the air that other sprayers simply waste, and it does this without any extra fuel consumption. As a result, it increases the overall flow rate and improves drift control caused by forward travel speed, making it especially useful in orchard sprayers.

Gear Box and Clutch
The gearbox offers 2 speeds plus a neutral point, using TEYME’s special ratio so it can transfer significant power. Alongside it, a centrifugal 3-shoe ZAMAK clutch gives smooth, progressive starting.

Deflector
The rear static deflector uses 11 steel blades to provide radial air with turbulence, so the spray distributes evenly at a 50/50 split, which is ideal for orchard sprayers in large tree canopies.

Blower Housing with 3 Channels
The Ø1015mm x 500mm blower housing is aerodynamic stainless steel, split into 3 channels (A, B and C). Because the channels are separated, the faster upper air doesn’t collide with the slower central air — which increases air production by 17% and keeps air exit speed adjustable from 22m/s to 44m/s.

Regulation by Sliding Device
A sliding device adjusts the width of channels A, B and C between 415mm and 475mm, and air speed from 22m/sec to 44m/sec, so you can tune each treatment to the needs of the application. Thanks to this channel width, a TEYME exclusive, the unit allows 50% faster marching speeds than standard sprayers. In particular, these enhancements are designed to meet the needs of modern orchard sprayers.

Equipment

Frame
The reinforced frame is laser-manufactured from steel plate, so it can be chain-produced consistently while giving the machine utmost stiffness. That kind of durability is what makes a frame like this suited to years of orchard work, season after season.

Stirring
Stirring works across 3 levels — high, medium and low pressure — so the mix stays constant and homogeneous throughout, with a full sweep of the tank bottom. Please note, The number of levels depends on tank capacity.

Jets
There are 30 ADSTC jets in total, each anti-dripping and double-steerable, with a stopcock closing device and 2 ceramic nozzles per jet.

Tanks (EC Rules)
The tanks are top-quality, uniform-thickness polyethylene, so they hold up to the demands of regular chemical use. Each unit comes with a main tank fitted with two flip-top lids, a rinsing auxiliary tank (10% capacity), and an 18-litre sanitary water tank, available in 2,000L, 3,000L and 4,000L capacities. Additionally, TEYME’s exclusive tank design complies with ISO 9367 and ISO 13440, which means it resists whirlpooling, empties fully even on 10% slopes, and avoids dead areas — so rinsing stays easy. Two transparent level gauges, one on the front and one on the side, let you check tank levels at a glance. Therefore, tanks are tailored for use in orchard sprayers.

Filters
Filtering happens across 3 levels: a basket filter at the tank’s filling mouth, a pump suction filter, and a central pressure filter — so contaminants get caught at every stage before spraying.

Axles
Fixed axles come with a hydraulic brake as standard. Centre-wheel to centre-wheel width scales with tank size: 1,200mm for the 1,000L and 1,500L tanks, 1,350mm for the 2,000L, 1,400mm for the 3,000L, and 1,650mm for the 4,000L.
