Recycling vineyard sprayer continues to deliver
It’s been a huge spring season so far, with our FMR R Series recycling sprayers flying out the door. And it’s easy to see why, when you consider the significant savings they offer on your triple bottom line of chemicals, labour and fuel – with most vineyards seeing complete payback in under three years.
Is the R Series right for you? Just hear what these Australian growers have to say:
Vitiworks Vineyard Management, Adelaide Hills
AME Territory Manager, Brenton Welk, recently delivered the new FMR 2300 recycling sprayer to Vitiworks Vineyard Management in the Adelaide Hills. One of many R Series sprayers we’ve delivered in the region, it’s the ideal machine for the vineyard management leader, which produces premium fruit for over 45 companies across the Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley and Langhorne Creek.
“The recycling sprayer is essential to our operations – especially when it comes to efficiency, as we implement spraying programs to customers as part of our diverse vineyard management services,” Vitiworks co-founding director Peter McIntyre said.
Trifon Estate Wines, Goulburn Valley
At Victoria’s largest moderately cool climate single estate vineyard, saving time, chemicals and costs is paramount to success. Since we delivered the R Series vineyard sprayer to Trifon Estate Wines, manager Sam Gallo has already observed a big difference.
“Straight away, we noticed our spraying program was much more efficient,” Sam said.
“Not only are we saving on fungicides with fewer tank fills, we’ve also seen significant savings on fuel as we can run the tractor on low revs.”
Pikes Wines, Clare Valley
Since receiving the FMR 3000R vineyard sprayer as part of its sustainability program, Pikes Wines in Clare Valley has seen over 40% reduced chemical use and more than 25% less labour and fuel use compared to its previous application technology.
“Over a full season, this new technology delivers major cost savings and also improves our intrinsic pest and disease control capability,” Pike Wines managing director and viticulturist Andrew Pike said.
“It also significantly reduces losses of ‘off target’ spray particles, which is a great result for the environment.”
